Firstly, fears of first aid, scene safety, DRAB and ABCDs, how to use face shields, initial assessment and the recovery position. In cardiac problems and the heart we cover many different subjects including; adult and child CPR, heart attack, AED, drowning, compressions and when to call for assistance. The choking management category includes choking recognition, adult choking and child choking ensuring you know how to deal with an emergency if it should arise. Bleeding management is also included in Basic First Aid along with Medical problems. Medical problems include; Anaphylaxis, spinal injuries, burns, stroke, asthma and finally fainting.
